Created by Sam Boyd and produced by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, A Simple Favor), the series launched in 2020 originally premiered on HBO Max. Canceled after only two seasons in 2022 (sniff 💔), it makes a grand return to streaming and promises to win new fans.
📖 What is Love Life?
Love Life is a dive into the romantic life of a thirty-something New Yorker, filled with crushes, failed dates, and the great stories that mark a life.
- Season 1: we follow Darby Carter, played by Anna Kendrick, through her love stories from 2012 to 2019. Passionate loves, breakups, new encounters, self-discovery… in short, a real diary on screen.
- Season 2: change of protagonist! This time, it’s Marcus (played by William Jackson Harper, whom we loved in The Good Place) who takes over. A husband in crisis, a new single man despite himself, he plunges into the dating pool in New York, with his share of flirts, disillusionments, and love at first sights.
