Hello movie lovers 💕! If you also love seeing your favorite actors in totally unexpected projects, you’re going to love this news. Anna Kendrick and Seth Rogen might be sharing the screen in a new dramedy titled Babies. And honestly, the premise is already funny and touching at the same time 😍.
A modern story about parenting (or not!)
So here’s the idea: the film, which takes place in Los Angeles, tells the daily life of Annie (played by Anna Kendrick) and Aaron (portrayed by Seth Rogen). The couple is still hesitating about having a child… but BAM 💥 their lives turn upside down when their freshly divorced friend shows up at their home with her 3-year-old daughter. As a result: they become “parents” overnight, without really choosing it. You can already feel the comedic situations, right?
Behind the camera 🎥
The director is Lauren Miller Rogen (yes, Seth’s wife!), whom you might already know from Like Father on Netflix. She also writes the original screenplay for Babies. On the production side, we have AGC Studios, Monarch Media, and Lylas Pictures. In short, some great people promising a solid project.
And guess what? Filming starts this November in Los Angeles 🌴.
